Grad school

It has only been 2 years since I finished my undergraduate degree, the bulk of it completed online; but I feel like a neophyte when trying to navigate the SUNYIT system. SLN, Banner, Angel, netids - these are all things I thought I was very familiar with; registering and getting class information should have been a breeze, or so I thought.

Well, registration is complete, and now the quest for books is underway. What can I ILL, and what can I do without, and what must I purchase? How do the SUNY tuition benefits work with SUNYIT? How much of a crunch on my wallet with this foray into insanity cost me? So far, I know 2 classes will cost $2317.68, plus whatever the cost of books ends up being. Time to pinch pennies a little bit. Oh, and the GMAT is $250, which I will have to take and do well on, should I decide to matriculate and go for the degree. Right now I am just dipping my toes into the water to see if I sink or swim.

Journey

I feel like I am at a crossroads in my life. I am looking at taking a journey whose destination seems far away and whose purpose I'm not sure I understand. Writing has always been a way for me to clarify my thoughts, unburden my soul, and see me through difficult times. So, the journey begins.
